Summary
A lovely family based in Wandsworth, London, is seeking a part-time housekeeper to help maintain their home in a clean and well-organised condition. The role includes all general housekeeping duties. As a small bonus, lunch will be provided for the children.
Working hours: 3 full days a week, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Thursday and Friday must, other days flexible. It can also be 2 full days and 2 half days.
Duties include:
Friendly and child-aware housekeeper with occasional school and club drop-offs and pick-ups (all locations are within walking distance)
Responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming family home on a daily basis
Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping all floor surfaces
Dusting and polishing furniture, surfaces, and household fittings to maintain cleanliness
Cleaning bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
Performing deep cleans in the kitchen to maintain hygiene and order
Handling laundry: washing, drying, folding, and neatly organising clothing
Ironing garments and storing them appropriately
Making beds and routinely changing bed linen
Washing up and loading/unloading the dishwasher
Cleaning windows and mirrors to ensure a sparkling finish
Occasionally, preparing lunches for the children as a bonus
