Summary
A wonderful family in the Harrow area is looking for an after-school nanny to assist in caring for their two school-aged children. This role is ideal for someone responsible, nurturing, and capable of effectively balancing childcare with light household duties.
The after-school nanny must have a valid first aid qualification.
Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 11.5 hours per week. From September, it will be Monday to Friday for 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
Duties include:
Collecting the children from school and accompanying them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
Bathing the children and ensuring proper hygiene is maintained
Prioritising the safety, well-being, and overall development of the children
Engaging them in interactive play, age-appropriate educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Supporting the bedtime routine and settling the children for sleep
Encouraging early literacy through regular reading
Assisting with homework and promoting educational progress
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support structure and healthy development
Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks suited to the children’s needs
