Summary

Owen Payne Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to our client based in the Wirral area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic finance team on a temporay permanent.

Working Hours:

• Days: Monday to Friday

  
  

• Hours: 08:30 to 17:00 (with breaks, though specifics on paid/unpaid are not detailed)

  
  Pay:

  • £23,830.50 per year
  

  Responsibilities:

  • Debt Collection: Manage and chase outstanding debts.

    
    

  • Communication: Stay in touch with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

    
    

  • Query Resolution: Handle payment queries and disputes professionally.

    
    

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems.

    
    

  • Customer Service: Ensure a high level of service during the entire credit control process.

    
    Candidate Requirements:

    • Experience: At least 2 years in credit control.

      
      

    • Skills: Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), confident telephone manner, and proficient in conflict resolution.

      
      

    • Software Knowledge: Experience with SAGE, AMCS, SAGE CRM, or Credit Hound is desirable.

      
      

    • Certifications: ICM Level 3 is a plus.

      
      

    • Technical Skills: Good MS Excel skills.
