£12.21 per hour. Mileage@ 45p per mile

My kind and loving 5-year-old boy is looking for an outgoing PA to get him out and about, participating in activities such as swimming and walks in the woods whilst keeping him safe. He enjoys energetic activities such a trampoline parks, play parks. Our son also loves animals, so trips to the farm and zoo are his favourite things to do.

He has ASD and is currently non-verbal with some understanding. He loves being outdoors but can be a little anxious using his buckle clips to self sooth. We are seeking someone who is nurturing and kind, to help build his confidence.

Our son is full of energy and elopes frequently; if he gets the chance he will take the opportunity to run, so you must be ready for the challenge.

The role at times will involve working alongside another PA for my twin boy for group outings.

Experience of working with ASD children is preferrable.

Duties include:



Personal grooming
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance


Accessing social and leisure activities e.g. Walks, swimming, going to parks, trampoline parks, farms visits, days out, etc
Whilst at home, participate in activities linked to his interests/that extend his learning.
Candidate qualities:

Experience of working with ASD children is preferrable.
