Summary
Pharmacist - 12-month fixed term contract (1st October 2025 31st September 2026)6 sessions.An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and supportive team at St Isan Road Surgery for a fixed term of 12 months. Our practice has been newly extended and refurbished and serves a population of approximately 7,800 patients. The team consists of 4 Partners and 2 Sessional GPs, 3 practice nurses, 1 HCA and a full complement of highly experienced admin support staff. We are situated in the Heath, a lovely part of Cardiff, only 3 miles away from the City Centre and close to excellent schools and parks. This post could be a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist to gain experience working in a primary care setting. Benefits of working in this surgery will include: Training practice 3 x SpRs with us currently Teaching Medical Students, Physician Associates and Pharmacy Students Low Home Visit requirement (cluster funded Paramedic is able to visit if necessary) Vision & Docman System Accurx, Surgery Connect and Heidi moving to EMIS in July 2025 Regular practice meetings Access to Physiotherapists. Advanced Cluster Working Model - MDT, discharge hub, third sector referrals and advanced care planning. Use of Team Net 7 weeks of leave pro rata (6 annual and 1 study) Experience with teaching is essential for this post.
