What you'll be doing
You will be working outdoors in the garden to deliver a series of events over the months of July - September. As a property our events over the summer include Outdoor Cinema, Classic Car Groups, Weddings, Proposals and Photoshoots. You will be working on them all, alongside the Events Manager and volunteer team.
This is a predominantly outdoor based, active role, assisting with the set up and operational logistics for each event to ensure that they run smoothly and successfully. Activities include the set up of furniture, assisting suppliers with the logistics of working in the garden and being customer facing for the event itself. You will be answering any questions, assisting guests and those attending the events, helping to ensure health and safety standards and any other necessary activities to ensure a smooth running, successful event. No two events are the same, one day you may be assisting with a wedding for 80 people and then later in the work, helping one person propose at twilight on the Palladian Bridge.
There will also be a small amount of indoor administration work to support each event.
This role does include weekend and some evening working.

Each year, the events team will deliver around 20 weddings, assist with many proposals of marriage or couple photoshoots as well as work with third parties to host outdoor cinema, theatre and of course, Christmas at Stourhead.
