Summary
We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are excited to once again be recruiting for a highly respected social welfare charity! We are on the lookout for an experienced fundraiser to join their high-performing fundraising team as Trusts & Foundations Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing the trusts and foundations strategy. This role is perfect for a strategic fundraiser looking to take the next step in their career, leading the full cycle of high-value grant acquisition and stewardship, from proactive research to compelling bid writing and building long-term funder relationships.
The Trusts & Foundations Manager will work closely with colleagues across the charity, particularly the Policy Team, to translate the charity’s mission and strategy into appealing applications for high-value, multi-year relationships.

Trusts & Foundations Manager

Duties will include:
• Identifying and pursuing high-value funding opportunities, from a range of trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies
• Cultivating and stewarding strong, long-lasting relationships with funders
• Securing restricted and unrestricted funding for the charity’s core activities
• Implementing a strategy to secure income and build a sustainable stream
• Providing accurate and timely reporting, both internally and to funders
The ideal candidate will:
• Be a compelling and engaging communicator, capable of crafting persuasive funding applications
• Have demonstrable experience in trusts and foundations fundraising, particularly in securing high-value, multi-year grants
• Be a strategic thinker, capable of developing and implementing income generation strategies
• Have a proactive approach to prospect research and acquisition
