Summary
A Vacancy at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder willbe responsible forthe general day to dayoperational functionsof Pharmacy Stores, including providing a high quality and efficient pharmacy distribution and goods in service. The post holder will support the smooth running of the Pharmacy stores for staff and other Trust employees.
The post holder will co-ordinate in the following areas, ensuring tasks are completed and documented in the allottedtimeframes:
• Topping up and receipt/supply of ward orders
• Ward and Pharmacy deliveries
• Goods in
• Waste Management
• Emergency Boxes
To carry out Senior ATO stores duties,assistingthe Senior Technician within the area by –
Assistingin the co-ordinationof the pharmacy support staff by ensuring all orders have been received and completed for that day (email, top up and ward order day schedule) and ensure all work is completed daily. Utilising the use of the PTS, ensuring data is up to date andaccurate.
Assistin the co-ordination of the delivery service for the wards and Pharmacy departments, ensuring all deliveries have been undertaken as per the daily schedule.
Assistin the co-ordination of the goods in team, including receipt of goods, processing of documentation and ensuring stock is put away and all work is completed daily
Assistin the co-ordination of the processing of waste/ returns from clinical areas, reviewing wards waste/ returns
Assistin the co-ordination of the Emergency box supply and replenishment, ensuring the minimum stockholding forcompleted boxesis available at all times
To escalate operational issues such as staffing levels or delays in completing planned workload to Senior Technician
Toparticipatein the training of other support staff and trainees, which will include providing training on Top-up, Eylea/Lucentisreconciliation assembly of stock items, receipt, returns,PTSand any other stores roles.
