Hyde is looking to recruit a Debt Collection Income Officer. Internally you will be known as an Income Services Officer.

As an Debt Collection Income Officer, you will be working within our Income Team to manage the prevention and recovery of rent arrears and other debts.

Responsibilities

Recover rent arrears and service charges from an assigned account.
Respond back to all resident correspondence regarding the management of their account.
Offer money management advice to assist the resident in prioritisation of rent and service charge payments and reduction of arrears.
Ensure residents receive appropriate advice and guidance regarding benefits and welfare entitlements to maximise their potential income, making appropriate referrals where identified.
To represent Hyde by attending and presenting cases professionally at court.
Refer cases to appropriate teams/external agencies where more in depth advice is required.
Skills and Experience Required

Rent arrears recovery / debt collection experience is preferable
Strong customer service skills
Verbal & written communication skills
