Summary
Work with York Limited are looking to recruit individuals to join a client's busy Road Safety Training Team. You will be qualified to deliver Bikeability Levels 1, 2 and 3 by having the 1st 4Sport Level 2 award in Instructing Cycle training or be willing to work towards this qualification.
Flexible work all year round
The rate of pay is £15.15 per hour.
In addition, to delivering Bikeability at primary and secondary schools, you will also deliver Pedestrian training for school years 3 and 4, and Balance Bike training for pre-school and reception children.
For adults there are very popular Urban Cycle Skills courses which are run during the day, evenings and at weekends.
You should be a regular cyclist able to cycle up to 25 miles a day to deliver training at schools across the City throughout the year and enjoy working with all age groups from preschool to adults.
As well as delivering practical training in schools, you may be required to engage with schools in classrooms and assemblies.
You should be confident using IT programmes, particularly Excel, Word, Emails and using a Smart mobile phone.
