Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Backlog Officer (Level 6) to join our dynamic team. As a Backlog Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and prioritizing the backlog of tasks and projects within the organization. Responsibilities
Manage and prioritize the project backlog effectively to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
Collaborate with project managers and teams to define project requirements and set realistic timelines.
Track progress on various projects and prepare reports for stakeholders highlighting updates and challenges.
Identify bottlenecks in workflows and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Facilitate regular backlog grooming sessions with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
Monitor the resolution of issues within the backlog and escalate as necessary to minimize delays.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all backlog-related activities and decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in backlog management or project coordination in a professional environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively relay information to varied stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management tools and software to track and report on project status.
Analytical thinking with a problem-solving mindset to identify and propose effective solutions.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
