Summary
An opportunity is available for an experienced Parish Cleaner to work at the premises and offices of Bishop Thomas Neylon at The Priory, 5 Lancaster Lane, Parbold, Wigan WN8 7HS in the parish of Our Ladyand Saints, Parbold. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with Bishop Thomas Neylon, the Parish Administrator and other parish staff.
This is a part-time, permanent post, working 4 hours per week preferably on a Tuesday and Thursday morning working across the Presbytery and offices The salary is £2,620.00 per annum (FTE £22,932.00).
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata) and pension scheme are available.
The successful candidate will be required to provide an efficient and comprehensive cleaning service to the Bishop whilst ensuring a pleasant, safe and welcoming environment to all those who visit the presbytery.
Applicants should also have; previous experience of working in a similar role dealing with cleaning within a domestic, voluntary or paid role. The ability to work with other people within the premises and a working knowledge of appropriate usage of cleaning products for different materials is a must. An appreciation of the confidentiality of the job is also needed whilst experience of laundering large items is would be advantageous.
