Summary
Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)
Reporting to: The Employer
Location: Notting Hill, London W9
Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
We are looking to recruit a Personal Assistant for our client living in the Notting Hill area of London who has complex health needs and requires emotional, mental and physical health support.
Assistance with varied tasks involved in practical aspects of daily living including personal care, nutritional support, shopping, housekeeping and companionship.
Main duties:
Social duties:
keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
attend medical appointments if required
do hobbies such as swimming
Personal care: support with all aspects if personal care when required.
Domestic duties: support with grocery shopping, cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, changing linen, laundry.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.
Type of person that you/they are looking for:
Values: someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, understands equality and diversity and has a good sense of humour.
Specific requirements: someone with previous support worker experience.

Essential:
Fluent in English
Good literacy & numeracy skills
Computer literate
Good communicator
Able to swim
Confidentiality
Good at building relationships
Must be able to evidence legal right to work in the UK
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
