Description
To ensure the timely identification of children in need, children at risk, children with a disability, children being looked after, care leavers and homeless young people in accordance with Cardiff Children’s Service eligibility criteria, legal requirements, Council policies and procedures, and Government initiatives.
To assist people to resolve difficulties in their lives and to enhance their independence and coping skills through telephone discussion and identification and sign posting to the most relevant services able to assist – including both statutory and voluntary agencies.
To contribute to the development and maintenance of workable systems to ensure quality of service across the city and the identification of people particularly at risk.
To work positively with colleagues in the statutory and independent sector to ensure an appropriate multi-agency approach, and to empower clients to speak for themselves.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £30.50
