Summary
A lovely family in Woking, Surrey is looking for an After-school Nanny to help them in looking after their charming toddler and school-aged child. The role will primarily focus on safely collecting their children from nursery and school then bringing them home. Key responsibilities then include preparing and supervising their dinner, followed by guiding them through bedtime preparations such as changing into pyjamas, brushing teeth and perhaps reading a story. Beyond these core tasks, the role typically involves engaging both children in age-appropriate play and activities, assisting the older child with homework, encouraging them to help tidy their play areas and belongings, and maintaining clear communication regarding their afternoon and well-being, ensuring their safety is paramount. The family has a dog at home so someone pet-friendly would be ideal for this role. A driver is required, with a preference for candidates who have their own car.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 18 hours per week
Duties include:
picking up children from nursery/school and taking them home
organising fun and stimulating age appropriate activities
arranging playdates
preparing snacks and dinner for the children
making sure the children are always happy and safe
helping with bath and bedtime routine
help with laundry and tidying up after the children
