As a MIG Welder you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality welded products for our customers. You will work with various materials and follow blueprints and specifications to ensure precise and strong welds.
Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other materials as required. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand weld specifications. Set up and operate welding equipment and machinery. Inspect welded joints and conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production goals. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role. In-depth knowledge of MIG welding techniques and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and a focus on high-quality work. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials. Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team. Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS, CWI, or equivalent) are a plus.
Benefits & Requirements:
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
