Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Team Manager for our Occupational Therapy (OT) Project team. This role is crucial in supporting the management and operation of our team, ensuring that our projects align with organizational goals and deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients. The Deputy Team Manager will collaborate closely with the Team Manager to implement strategies that drive operational excellence and enhance service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of occupational therapy principles. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the team, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and standards. You will also play a pivotal role in employee development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. In addition, you will be responsible for liaising with external stakeholders and ensuring that the project's targets and objectives are met. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities effectively. Responsibilities
Assist the Team Manager in implementing operational plans and strategies for the OT project.
Supervise and support team members in delivering quality occupational therapy services.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
Facilitate team meetings and promote a collaborative working environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Manage client caseloads and ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and organizations, to enhance service collaboration.
Requirements
A relevant degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within healthcare.
Strong knowledge of occupational therapy practices and standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
Proficient in project management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
