Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our incredible team in Salisbury. This is a permanent and full-time/ Part-time posts.

We have a registered care home where five ladies who have Learning Disabilities live and enjoy a great life
As a Female Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of these individuals. Each person has their own unique abilities and needs and you will be supporting them to live the life they choose.
What we're looking for:

- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- Being able to reduce social isolation of people with a learning disability.
- Being able to increase the independence and confidence of individuals with a learning disability.
- Enabling the people with a learning disability to fully access their local communities.

Contract options:

- Full time 37.5 hours
- Part time 20 hours

Shift times:
All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

- Days and weekends: 8-6pm, 3pm-8pm, 11am-6pm, 7am-6pm 12noon-10pm
- Sleep-ins: 2pm - 2.30pm next day
- for the sleep-in you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70

- * An enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate (Paid for by Mencap, T&Cs apply)
