We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, inspiring and forward-thinking colleague to join our PE team. Whether you’re experienced or newly-qualified, you will have the opportunity to join a highly successful department with a supportive and collaborative ethos. Knowledge or experience of playing football would be an advantage.

Our school is dedicated to evidence-based practice with a focus on Rosenshine’s principles of instruction, and we have a strong emphasis on incorporating educational research in to lessons. We are proud of the number of sports teams that run across all year groups and our success in regional and national cups in many sports.

The department has a strong academic pathway and there are multiple groups in both GCSE and A level PE. We have also recently introduced a vocational pathway due to the popularity of the subject at both level 2 and level 3. We have links with Trinity University and Cookridge Hall golf club who we collaborate with to run our ‘Golf Academy’ in the sixth form.
