Job introduction:
As a Security Receptionistat Merville Barracks, Circular RoadSouth, Colchester, Your role is vital in making sure that we provide a safe and secure environment for our clients. You'll be tasked with verifying and directing visitors.
What you’ll do:
- Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security identificationand protocols for the site/area
- Monitoring of CCTV, Access Control and other protective systems
- Act as a first line response to activations & incidents or fault reporting
- Log calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff
- Deliver and maintain customer service at all times, ensuring client satisfaction
- Maintain a high standard of a well-kept reception/entry area to ensure visitors journey starts with a positive impression.
What you bring:
- Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities
- Standard SIA license
- Excellent communication and awareness skills
- Experience in working in a similar role
- Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures
