Vacancy - Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant will work within the Sales and Marketing team to develop and deliver marketing activities, whether print based, digital, or face-to-face via exhibitions and events, to maintain and develop the profile and branding of the company, their products and services, to both existing and new audiences in local, regional and national and international markets, in line with the company’s business plan. Part time remote considered.

Responsibilities:
• To assist and work under the direction of the Marketing Manager to help reach the company’s marketing goals and objectives.
• To support the marketing needs of both B2B and B2C sales channels, to include marketing campaigns, digital marketing, SEO and email marketing, promotional activity, press releases, graphics/design, and the product life-cycle process, to ensure that overall sales growth and profitability targets are met and exceeded.
• To carry out research and analysis to assist in the formulation and development of our strategic plans and specific marketing activity.
• Through the marketing department, to support the B2B account managers and sales team to achieve their own objectives by providing marketing collateral to support them with their sales growth plans.
• Digital content work to include, creation and publishing of ‘blog’ content, website analysis and metrics, publishing of information on websites and social networking sites.
• Market research, both customer and competitor, to define target audiences and identify potential customers

Requirements:
• Enthusiasm to develop marketing skills for all relevant marketing channels within the WW & TWC brands.
• A firm grasp of modern-day social media platforms (e.g. Pinterest, Instagram, FaceBook, etc.)
• Proficient in MS Office and/or Google Docs, Adobe Suite or similar graphics software
• Basic knowledge of Shopify, Wordpress and Mailchimp
• Good communications skills, both written and verbal and the ability to write compelling and accurate copy for marketing purposes.
• An interest in nature and the outdoors, and the ability to develop an in-depth knowledge of our products and our markets.
• Attention to detail - accurate and methodical in work.
• Calm, reliable, trustworthy, unflappable.
• Cheerful and professional – will see the job through.
• A good business sense - numerate and commercially aware.
• Confidence, enthusiasm, self-motivation & determination.
