Summary
To use specialist skills in providing physiotherapy assessments and interventions in various settings (e.g. the clients home, workplace, community). To develop and implement specialist interventions based on evidence and relevant clinical guidelines. To write specialist physiotherapy reports reflecting specialist stroke and neurological knowledge. To provide advice to others regarding the management and care of adults with mobility problems, arising from stroke or neurological conditions. To ensure that patients, families and carers are involved in the planning and implementation of care plans, home exercise programmes. To demonstrate negotiation skills in the management of conflict across a range of situations
