Summary
Long term SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) position to start in September 2025, full time Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.
The school has provision for pupils aged 5-11 years old who have an education, health, and care plan (EHCP) that reflects their special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) you will be supporting teaching and learning in the classroom, you will be fully committed and be able to fully support the children individually to help them overcome their challenges and engage in learning, helping pupils to break down barriers to learning, and achieve a positive outcome.
The school offers a creative curriculum, a very child centred and nurturing approach, designed to meet each child's individual needs, with a large focus on sports activities to help the children regulate their emotions.
We are looking for someone who has lots of empathy, a positive and energetic attitude, an interactive and engaging approach, and who can commit full time long term.
