Summary
Are you an experienced Reach Truck Operator with excellent computer skills? We are looking for a talented individual to join our team . In this role, you will operate a Reach Truck while also utilising computer systems for inventory management and other warehouse tasks.
Working days: Monday to Thursday. Availability extends to Fridays during busy periods.
Working hours: Flexible start between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, with work continuing until 10:00 PM. Willing and able to take on additional hours as needed.
Pay rate: £14.00 - £15.00
Responsibilities:
-Operate a (8MM) Reach Truck for efficient loading and unloading of stock.
-Utilize computer systems for inventory management and other warehouse tasks.
-Receive relevant training for various warehouse tasks if necessary.
-Maintain a polite, proactive, and willing-to-work attitude.
-Demonstrate good organizational skills to ensure efficient stock management.
-Meet work targets efficiently while maintaining accuracy and safety.
-Communicate effectively at all levels, keeping your line manager informed of important matters or issues.
-Work efficiently and make timely decisions, especially when working at speed.
-Be prepared for some manual handling, bending, and reaching as part of your job duties.
Requirements:
-Prior experience operating Reach Forklift trucks is essential.
-Hold a valid Reach Truck license.
-Strong computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management systems.
-Ability to display a polite, proactive, and willing-to-work attitude.
-Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to meet work targets efficiently.
-Effective communication skills at all levels.
-Ability to work efficiently and make timely decisions, especially when working at speed.
-Must be prepared for some manual handling, bending, and reaching as part of the job duties.
