Floor Layer Wanted – Yeovil & Surrounding Areas
£18.88/hr (incl. holiday pay)
Are you a floor layer looking for steady work, a good team, and the chance to progress with a solid, relaxed and people focused housing provider. We’ve got a great opportunity with a busy housing association working across Yeovil and the surrounding area – and they’re looking for someone just like you.
You’ll be out and about each day in a company van, working in social housing properties and making sure the flooring looks spot-on. Move into a permanent position with loads of benefits.

What will you be doing:
Fitting vinyl (sheet/safety/tiles) and carpets
Prepping floors with latex or ply
Fitting grippers, underlay, and making everything look sharp
Doing repairs when needed
Helping tenants pick from a few flooring options
Ordering materials and using the job system to keep things up to date
Helping out other trades now and then
What you need:
Solid floor laying experience - Wetrooms, vinyl and carpet.
A full UK driving licence
A can-do attitude and good attention to detail
Friendly and professional with tenants
