Catering Assistant - St Albans AL4 (Wheathampstead)
£12.31 per hour
Monday to Friday, term-time only
20 hours or 30 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Wheathampstead AL4, for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent
Catering.
We have two part-time positions available, one working 20 hours per week, 10.00am to 2.00pm and the other working 30 hours per
week 10am to 3pm.
Both roles are Monday to Friday term-time only - so all the school holidays off!

What you'll do:-
* general kitchen duties
* putting away deliveries
* food preparation
* serving, cleaning and washing up
* maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the
service time
* speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
* assisting customers whenever necessary, listening to any comments they may have and relaying these to the Manager or Chef
* undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team
What you'll bring:-
* Great customer service skills
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
* Ideally some experience of catering/hospitality
This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of
the English language.
Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
