Summary

Location: Office based in Sutton-in-Ashfield (travel to various sites required)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM (45 hours per week including 30-minute lunch)
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Full-time, Temp

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Domestic Site Cleaner to join our team, cleaning newly built homes prior to handover to clients. You’ll be responsible for ensuring each property is cleaned to a high standard, ready for occupancy.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable travelling to different sites, working independently or as part of a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform final clean of new build homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, windows, floors, and all surfaces


  • Remove dust, debris, and builders’ residue from all areas of the property


  • Ensure properties meet company cleanliness and presentation standards before handover


  • Report any snags or defects observed during the clean to site management


  • Follow all health and safety protocols, including the correct use of cleaning materials and PPE


  • Drive to and from different construction sites as required


  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude on site at all times


    Requirements:

    • Valid CSCS card – essential


    • Full UK driving licence – essential


    • Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a construction or site environment


    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines


    • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently


    • Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and physical activity


    • Flexibility to travel to various local sites as needed
