Summary
Experienced Machine operator required
Work hours - Monday to Thursday alternating 12 hour days and nights
(shift pattern 2 weeks on days then 2 weeks on nights).
Previous experience gained working in a Coating or a printing background is a bonus
Key skills/requirements
Essential - Previous Machine experience - (Further training for this particular role is provided)
Essential - Regular manual handling + manual dexterity
Essential - Flexibility to workdays AND nights
Essential - Numerate/Literate
Essential - Ability to work unsupervised
Essential - to be able to work 12 hour shifts, alternating Days AND Nights
Desirable - IT Literate
Desirable Used to busy factory environment
Main Tasks:
Operating a Silicone Coating machine.
Packing products, which includes wrapping, weighing and palletising goods.
Ensuring data is accurately recorded using in-house computer system.
Following work instructions and customer specifications
Working to a priority list.
Meeting/exceeding performance standards with regards to safety/waste and quality.
Maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
Subsidiary Tasks
Testing product to ensure it is within specification
Any other duties directed by your supervisor or Manager
Actively getting involved with initiatives and projects.
To have an understanding of all procedures relevant to role.
£13ph to start (£14 once fully trained) plus a further nightshift allowance of £15 per shift when on nights
