Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 06.30 - 15:30, Friday 07.00 – 12.00
About the Role
We are looking for skilled Panel Wirers to join our dynamic team at our manufacturing facility in Leeds. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring sub-assemblies into enclosures, from small boxes to large motor control centres. Your duties will include drilling, tapping, wiring to schematic drawings, and ensuring top-quality workmanship throughout.
Key Responsibilities
• Wiring components based on detailed schematic drawings.
• Installing mounting rails, trunking, idents + components onto metal backplates.
• Assembling wired components into small and large enclosures.
• Torque-setting screws and bolts using calibrated equipment.
• Installing copper busbar systems.
• Conducting quality checks and completing documentation.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in wiring control panels and/or assemblies.
• Expertise in component and cable wiring, as well as equipment assembly.
• Skilled in panel preparation, including hole cutting and component mounting.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, spanners, and ratchets.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality output.
