Summary
We are looking to employ a Multi-skilled engineer who has worked on PPM schedules for a rail maintenance depot or similar and holds a full UK driving licence.
We have positions for Site Engineers, who will take responsibility for the maintenance of systems and equipment used to maintain rolling stock including:
CET's
Train Wash Machines
Plant
PLC systems
Fuel and Ad blue systems
Train sanding systems
Depot Protection
Electrical Systems
Mechanical Equipment
Pipefitting.
Requirements
We are looking for a time served Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician with electrical/mechanical qualifications, however, similar relevant experience will be considered.
The Work
The successful candidate will carry out Pre-Planned Maintenance (PPM) works, identify necessary remedial activities and respond to reactive works at rail maintenance depots, primarily in the South East, but may occasionally be required to travel nationwide.
Ideally having previous experience in the rail environment you will already hold a PTS Sentinel card, although training can be provided to the right candidate.
A good understanding of PLC operated systems will be advantageous.
A full UK driving licence is essential, to allow travel to and from the depots in a company vehicle.
Fuel and mobile phone will be provided, as well as a food subsistence payment and paid hotel (if required to travel).

Weekly overtime is usually available in addition to the salary offered.
Training and rapid progression will be available to suitable personnel.
Weekend call out retainer of £60 a day / £100 a day on Bank holiday ( 1 in 12 week average).
