Summary


To lead and manage all catering services across Merseycare NHS Foundation Trust. The Post holder will be responsible for all governance, Strategy, food safety, quality, and the operational management of all catering services. To drive the strategic direction & development of Trust catering services in line with care standards.

3. To drive the strategic direction & development of Trust catering services in line with care
standards.
4. The post holder will form part of the senior facilities management team and will be expected to
be involved in managing catering functions across the entire Mersey Care organisation.
5. The post holder will exercise a high degree of professional specialism in food and manage services
in line with the Trust Strategic plan; this should include all aspects of the service including front
of house services and 24-hour access to food solutions.
6. Be the Trust Catering Specialist and ambassador for catering.
7.Ensure, through sound financial management, that services are delivered within tight budgetary control and the requirements of the Trust in line with Government initiatives, Trust objectives and financial efficiency targets.
