Team Leader – Late Shift (Warehouse Operations)
Ipswich | £14.47 per hour (PAYE) | Full-Time, Permanent | Monday to Friday, 17:00 – 02:30 (42.5 hrs/week)
Our long-established and reputable client in Ipswich is seeking a Team Leader to join their late shift warehouse operation. This full-time, permanent position offers a great opportunity to step into a supervisory role within a modern, well-equipped, and supportive working environment.

Shift Details
Monday to Friday, 17:00 – 02:30
42.5 hours per week
Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute unpaid breaks
No weekend work
Key Responsibilities
Liaise regularly with the Shift Manager to ensure tasks are understood and completed effectively.
Oversee the picking, packing, loading, and unloading of goods in line with customer specifications.
Lead by example, working alongside your team and ensuring high standards are met.
Ensure all team members wear appropriate PPE and follow Health & Safety procedures.
Maintain operational effectiveness of warehouse equipment and promptly report faults.
Provide support and guidance to team members, encouraging a positive, collaborative work environment.
Participate in general warehouse duties and complete any additional reasonable tasks as required.
Proactively seek training to maintain skills and stay current with industry best practices.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous warehouse experience is essential, with proven supervisory or team leadership background.
Valid Forklift Licence is essential (VNA and PPT licences desirable).
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and take initiative while effectively leading a team.
Sound organisational and time-management skills.
Experience in manual handling and packing processes.
Practical, adaptable, and solution-focused approach to work.
Full UK driving licence may be required for travel between sites.
