Summary
Boutique Deputy Manager - The Perfume Shop Boutique
Are you passionate about luxury perfumes and delivering unforgettable customer experiences? We are looking for a passionate Boutique Deputy Manager to support the leadership of our new flagship boutique store.
As a key member of the management team, you’ll help shape a sophisticated and immersive shopping environment, working closely with the Boutique Store Manager to inspire the team, elevate customer service, and drive commercial success. Your expertise in niche and luxury perfumes will help bring our brands to life and ensure every customer leaves with a lasting impression.
Contracted hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent contract
Pay rate: Up to £33,000.00 per annum
If successful, you will be expected to travel in London for training.
What You’ll Do:
· Support the Boutique Store Manager in establishing the store as a premier destination for perfume lovers, delivering best-in-class customer service and personalised experiences.
· Be a role model in delivering “The Perfect Service” standard, coaching and mentoring the team to consistently exceed expectations.
· Use your deep brand knowledge to bring our luxury and niche perfumes to life through storytelling and tailored recommendations.
· Help plan and host in-store events with suppliers to enhance customer engagement and brand awareness.
· Deputise for the Boutique Store Manager when needed, ensuring seamless operations and a consistent customer experience.
· Assist in achieving sales targets and KPIs, managing stock levels, and maintaining operational excellence.
· Support recruitment, training, and development of the store team, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.
What You’ll Bring:
· A strong track record in retail, ideally within luxury or niche environments, with experience in supporting or leading a high-performing team.
· A passion for perfume and the ability to share that passion with customers and colleagues alike.
· Excellent communication and coaching skills, with a natural ability to motivate and inspire others.
· Commercial awareness and the ability to support the Boutique Store Manager in driving performance and innovation.
· A growth mindset and adaptability to change, embracing new technologies and ways of working.
· Fragrance Foundation qualification (or willingness to complete it as part of the role)
