About the Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting both teaching staff and students, helping to deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and age groups. You’ll assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons, and provide one-to-one or group support tailored to learners’ individual needs.Your key responsibilities will include:Assisting with lesson planning and resource preparationSupporting learning activities in whole-class, small group, and individual settingsMonitoring and evaluating student progressProviding pastoral care and emotional support for pupilsCollaborating closely with teaching staff to help every learner reach their full potentialWhat We’re Looking For:Minimum of 3 GCSEs (Grade C or above), including English and MathsA Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)Prior experience supporting students in a classroom environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsA caring, empathetic approach to student wellbeing and developmentWhy Join Red Rose School?At Red Rose School, we’re committed to nurturing talent and supporting your professional growth.
