Thrive on making the magic happen during every performance? Do you love the buzz and creating unforgettable experiences for audiences and performers? We're looking for a practical, hands-on and passionate Technician for the Theatre. This role is full time, with evenings and weekends required. TOIL will be given for additional hours.
You will: Support students and staff in the theatre an studio spaces Manage equipment, lighting, sound and staging for performances and events Keep spaces safe, organised and performance-ready Collaborate with teaching staff to bring creative visions to life Lead on health and safety, risk assessments and technical planning Help shape the next generation of performers and technicians You need to: Have experience in a theatre or live performance setting Have confidence with technical equipment (lighting, sound, multimedia) Possess a calm, solutions-focused approach when the pressure is on Be a team player who is happy to take the lead when needed Be flexible, reliable and ready to roll up your sleeves
