Year 3 Primary Teacher responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Prepare and organise teaching resources and materials.
- Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs and abilities of pupils in the class.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, identifying those who may need additional support. Set and mark classwork, homework, and assessments to track pupil progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies and consistent routines. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

- Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils at all times.

Year 3 Primary Teacher requirements:
- Hold QTS and strong understanding of Year 3 curriculum.
- Provide example for pupils, maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and presentation.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisation skills.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Show adaptability and problem-solving when managing classroom dynamics or unexpected situations.
- Uphold and model the school's values, policies, and safeguarding procedures.
- Maintain a professional and approachable manner with all members of the school community.
- Be proactive in contributing to a positive and collaborative staff culture.
