Are you a psychology graduate with a passion for making a profound impact on the lives of children and young people? Do you have some experience working with individuals who require a specialised and supportive approach to learning? We are a unique educational setting in the Cranleigh area, dedicated to providing exceptional, individualised education for pupils who benefit from a systematic and evidence-based teaching approach.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated psychology graduates to join our team as Trainee Teachers. This is an exceptional opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in education, receiving comprehensive training in the Comprehensive Application of Behaviour Analysis to Schooling (CABAS) methodology - a scientifically validated approach to teaching.

What we offer:

  • World-Class Training: You will receive intensive, ongoing training and mentorship in CABAS, developing expertise in a highly effective, research-driven teaching methodology. This includes opportunities to work towards internationally recognised certifications and potentially supported Master's level qualifications in Behaviour Analysis or related fields.
  • A Rewarding Career Path: Start as a trainee and progress through defined professional ranks, with continuous professional development and support every step of the way.
  • Make a Real Impact: Witness first-hand the incredible progress our pupils make as a direct result of your skilled teaching and compassionate approach. You will play a crucial role in helping them achieve their full potential and develop essential life skills.
  • Supportive & Collaborative Environment: Join a dedicated and passionate team of educators and behaviour analysts in a school committed to the success of both its pupils and staff.
  • Career Development: For those with aspirations in educational psychology, clinical psychology, or behaviour analysis, this role provides an unparalleled foundation of practical experience and theoretical knowledge.

What you will do:

  • Learn and implement individualised teaching programmes based on the principles of behaviour analysis.
  • Work directly with pupils, delivering tailored instruction and support in both one-to-one and small group settings.
  • Collect and analyse data to monitor pupil progress and inform teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced teachers, behaviour analysts, and other therapists.
  • Contribute to a positive and structured learning environment where every child can thrive.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Hold a degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Have some demonstrable experience (paid or voluntary) working with children or young people, ideally those with additional needs or challenging behaviour.
  • Possess a genuine interest in behaviour analysis and its application in education.
  • Are patient, resilient, and dedicated to making a difference.
  • Are eager to learn and committed to their own professional growth.
  • Can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

If you are a motivated psychology graduate ready to embark on a challenging yet immensely rewarding career, where you will receive outstanding training and make a tangible difference every day, we would love to hear from you.
