Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm (40 hours per week)
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced HGV HIAB Driver to join their team in Thurrock. This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, delivery, and collection of modular buildings and containers to various customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate HGV vehicles equipped with HIAB cranes
- Load and unload modular units using the HIAB crane
- Deliver and collect modular buildings and containers from customer locations
- Ensure full compliance with road safety and transport regulations
- Accurately complete all delivery and collection paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
- Report any vehicle defects promptly
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
What You'll Need
- Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 Driver Licence with proven HIAB operating experience
- Qualified lorry loader operator certification (CSCS/ALLMI) is essential
- Strong knowledge of EU driver hours regulations, Working Time Directive, and tachograph rules
- Commitment to safety and excellent customer service
