Summary
Key requirements English language grade 4-9 or equivalent Experience of working with children 0-5 and 5-12 years. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and prevent duty. To have good time management skills. The ability to enhance own skills and knowledge. To understand the need to maintain confidentiality. To communicate effectively with the children at their level, in a calm, caring, reassuring manner. To keep the Management team informed of the availability to work. To assist with the child's entire personal care needs, during the nursery day, including feeding, changing nappies or soiled clothing, special dietary requirements and sterilization of feeding and play equipment. To work closely with colleagues and the management team to ensure high quality standards are maintained. To be able to use an electronic device to complete observations and record daily activities. To be able to manoeuvre children and equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. To administer first aid as appropriate. To work with the children both inside and outside, providing simulating activities.
