Compliance & Monitoring Officer

Permanent Contract

Full time (37 hours per week)

Work base: Leek and Buxton, will be expected to travel. Agile working applicable

£29,093- £31,067 per annum plus essential car user allowance

You will work collaboratively within the development services team across the Alliance and provide advice on all aspects of planning enforcement to officers, Councillors, developers, site owners and relevant community groups.

The ideal candidate will have a background in compliance and monitoring and have the ability to fully investigate and action all complaints regarding breaches of planning control, with emphasis on intelligence/ evidence gathering, site visits and liaison with planning officers to seek effective resolution.

You must be competent with Microsoft Office and use of the internet and be an excellent communicator at all levels.
