Summary
A Live-in Housekeeper is needed by this wonderful family based in Godalming, Surrey to help maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of their home to a high standard. An ideal candidate will be someone hardworking, well-organised, and takes initiative with all general housekeeping duties. The housekeeper will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family. The household has three school-aged children, so the ideal candidate will be child-friendly and happy to lend a hand with the children when needed. The family also has a dog, chickens, and a hamster, so being comfortable around animals would be a bonus, though not essential. A driver is required, with a preference for candidates who have their own car, although the family can provide a manual vehicle if necessary.
Working hours: Monday to Friday for 35 hours per week on a flexible schedule. Possible weekend days with prior notice, given time off in lieu
Accommodation: En-suite double bedroom
Duties include:
Dusting and mopping floors
Handling laundry and ironing
Polishing furniture and cleaning windows
Organising and maintaining wardrobes
Running errands, including grocery shopping
Preparing healthy meals and following recipes
Managing dry cleaning
Carrying out weekly deep cleans of the kitchen and bathrooms
Loading and unloading the dishwasher
