This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing consultancy where you’ll work closely with the company director, contribute meaningfully from day one, and help shape the future of the business.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager / Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on a new £1m flagship project for us. A commercial new-build located on a 4,000-acre private estate in Sevenoaks, Kent. Delivered under a construction management contract, you will be responsible for day-to-day delivery, overseeing procurement, programming, cost reporting, and final accounts.

You’ll be site-based and the go-to contact for all operational and commercial matters, working with and supported by the company director. This role offers real autonomy and the chance to make a visible impact.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily construction activity on site
- Procure and appoint trade contractors (approx. 10 packages)
- Draft and administer JCT Trade Contracts
- Update and manage the construction programme (Asta/MS Project)
- Lead CVRs, monthly valuations, and final account process
- Manage design changes, variations, and cost risks
- Liaise with the client, consultants, and site team
- Oversee snagging, handover, and project close-out

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone energetic, commercially sharp, and ready to take ownership. You’ll need to be comfortable managing live projects, handling responsibility, and working directly with clients.

Essential:
- 5+ years of experience in construction (contractor or client-side)
- Strong commercial knowledge and contract experience
- Hands-on site delivery capability
- Confident with JCT contracts and procurement
- Comfortable with programme management and cost reporting
- Full UK driving licence and able to be site-based in Kent

Desirable:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- Experience with CVRs, Asta/MS Project, or similar
- Ambition to grow into a senior leadership role as the business expands

What We Offer
- Salary of £47,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
