STORE MANAGER – CANNOCK SUPERSTORE

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Reporting To: General Manager
Division: Commercial | Team: Retail

Are you a natural leader with a passion for retail? We’re looking for an experienced Store Manager to take the reins of our
Cannock Superstore. This is your opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail environment where you can truly make an

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, driving sales, delivering outstanding
customer service, and leading a high-performing team. Your focus will be on operational excellence, team development, and
achieving ambitious performance targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Store Operations:

* Oversee all daily store activities, including opening and closing.

* Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.

* Manage stock levels, inventory replenishment, and shrinkage control.

Sales & Customer Service:

* Set and monitor sales goals and KPIs.

* Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.

* Support staff with sales techniques and customer engagement strategies.

Team Leadership:

* Recruit, train, and develop store team members.

* Create and manage rotas, monitor payroll hours, and assign duties.

* Inspire a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

Financial Management:

* Monitor store budgets and financial performance.

* Prepare and present sales and operational reports.

Compliance & Safety:

* Ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards.

* Promote a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Knowledge:

* Proven management experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

* Strong background in team leadership, recruitment, and performance management.

* Confident decision-maker with the ability to lead through change and under pressure.

* Experience in operational retail processes, including stock control and store security.

Skills:

* Adaptable leadership style with empathy and emotional intelligence.

* Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

* Strong IT, time management, and analytical capabilities.

* Numerate, literate, and detail-oriented.

* Resilient and self-motivated.

Attributes:

* Flexible to work additional hours or support other store locations when needed.

* Quick to adapt to changing situations and challenges.
