Summary


An opportunity has arisen for a full time vacancy as a Booking Co-ordinator working in the busy central booking team. The role is on a Fixed Term for 18 months.

The post holder will be required to provide excellent customer service to all service users ensuring that they are polite and courteous at all times.

Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure are essential requirements together with great attention to detail for ensuring data is recorded accurately onto the patient administration system to manage the booking of designated new and follow up clinics.

The post holders will be given full training to enable them to work in the booking team.

The standard hours of work are 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday with a 1 hour lunch break.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Booking Co-ordinator to cover services within the Central Booking Team

The Booking Co-ordinator will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, efficient and effective appointment booking service in order to meet the Trust’s patient waiting times, liaising closely with and responding to queries relating to appointments and activity from all stakeholders, providing support both internal and external to the Trust.

The successful candidate must be customer care focused, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with patients both face to face and over the telephone. As the role is within a busy booking team an ability to work under pressure is vital. Excellent time keeping skills and prioritising workload are essential to the role.
