Summary
We’re helping Sound Without Sight recruit for a remote, paid opportunity open to people across the UK.
Sound Without Sight is a platform and community hub connecting blind and partially sighted musicians to each other — and to the tools, networks, and opportunities they need to thrive.
They’re looking for two Community Leads to help grow the project and support emerging talent. You’ll work closely with their Project Manager to build community, create content, host events, and champion accessibility in music.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Community-building and peer support
Content creation (website, podcast, social media)
Interviewing artists and tech creators
Promoting accessible music tech and inclusive practices
Supporting events and online communication
Hours and Pay: 12 hours/week | £12.64/hour | Freelance
Essential Criteria:
Must be based in the United Kingdom
Demonstrable interest in the project’s focus areas
Interest in creating content (articles, podcasts, videos)
Able to manage time and priorities independently
Confident communicating by email and in virtual meetings
Experience using tools like Google Workspace or Office 365
Deadline: 11.59pm on 15 June 2025 11.59
