Summary
Make a difference to children's lives as a Year 2 Teaching Assistant in Woolwich, starting in September or before summer holidays for the right Year 2 Teaching Assistant.
As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you'll be joining a team of passionate support staff supporting children to reach their full potential and access the full curriculum.
Day-to-day as a Year 2 Teaching Assistant you’ll be:
• Assisting with the delivery of interventions and monitoring the progress of children with SEND
• Providing support for children with communication, language and literacy
• Building a rapport with children and helping them to regulate their emotions
• A role model and someone the children can trust
• Ensuring a safe, supportive and positive learning environment where each child can thrive
• Working Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm
This Year 2 Teaching Assistant role is full-time and ongoing, allowing you to see the progress children make and leaving you feeling achieved. There is the potential for the role to become permanent in the future for the suitable TA.
