Summary

CTK Emmanuel is part of the Christ the King Sixth Forms group of three highly successful Catholic sixth forms located in southeast London and Kent. In 2023, the Sixth Form was rated Good with Outstanding features by Ofsted. As a professional centre for excellence, CTK Emmanuel offers Vocational Qualifications, equivalent to 3 A Levels, and highly specialised routes to university. Located on the Blackheath borders with excellent transport links, CTK Emmanuel students aspire to be the best and to reach the top in their chosen ambitions.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced teacher to lead our Level 3 Business Studies curriculum – one of the largest subject areas at CTK Emmanuel. Reporting to the Assistant Principal of Curriculum, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the continued success of this thriving department. With nearly 90% of our business students progressing to university each year, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of aspiring young professionals.

You’ll provide outstanding teaching, learning and assessment that stretches and inspires students so that they reach their potential. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual who shares the desire to drive and achieve success alongside a team of skilled and highly motived teaching staff.

We warmly welcome applications from experienced teachers who have a strong subject knowledge and a passion for vocational education. You should have proven experience in delivering successful post-16 vocational programmes and a deep understanding of vocational course structures, content and assessment.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the Sixth Form's digital transformation, driving initiatives that will enhance teaching practices and equip educators with the cutting-edge digital tools and training they need to succeed.

We offer stimulating learning environments where effective teaching and learning are underpinned by high-quality interpersonal relationships. If you are ambitious for yourself and the learners you serve, then you are the person we need. This is an exciting opportunity to lead this popular curriculum area and would suit an experienced colleague or one seeking promotion to their first leadership position.

Join us to be inspired, be extraordinary, and be the best you can be.

We offer a wide range of competitive benefits, including private healthcare, season ticket loans, ride to work scheme, free on-site parking, free eye tests, free on-site gym, professional development and training, and generous employer pension contributions
