Summary
Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively 6-year-old boy who lives in the Launceston area.
He has Noonan’s syndrome and a learning disability, and he would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support.
He would like someone to support him with his communication and sensory needs. He loves collecting animal and dinosaur figures. He likes to go to the park, bounce on a trampoline, soft play and the swimming pool.
A personal assistant will enable him to enjoy activities in his local community and with his family.
Rate of pay £12.60 per hour.
Up to 5 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver essential.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornw
