Summary

Role overview

Are you a Support Worker tired of working for companies focused on profit only?

We are a Charity; therefore, our focus is on you and the people we support.

Come and join a Charity focused on people rather than profit.

Working as part of our growing Accommodation-Based Services team, you'll get a chance to show what it means to be a great Support
Worker.

You'll bring expertise to provide practical and emotional support to individuals, helping them prepare for their future and move
on with a greater level of independence.

You’ll do this in a trauma-informed way (you’ll receive great training) and by building strong relationships with those you
support.

Support is a broad term. This could include; helping someone move and settle into their new home, safety planning to reduce harm,
helping someone secure their desired job or secure the place on the training course they have aspired to do, support with
independent living skills like shopping, budgeting, and cooking.

You'll work as part of a tight-knit team of Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, Night Building Supervisors, and a Project
Manager on a rota basis.

You’ll be working within our supported accommodation building which provides 24/7 housing and support for young people aged
16-18, who were homeless or at risk of homelessness in Bournemouth.

Some may have complex needs, including people with substance misuse or mental health needs.

If you have experience working as a support worker in a similar role, or you have life experience in this area, then this could be
perfect for you.

We are a charity, so it’s important that you want to work for an organisation focused on well-being and successful outcomes rather
than just profit.

We want people that are empathetic, driven, and able to motivate others. We recruit people that embrace opportunity and are
willing to learn and reflect. We want people that can help CCP to transform lives.
