Summary
Sovereign Network Group (SNG) are setting up a brand-new Digital and Artificial Intelligence Team. We want to be able to leverage Digital and AI capability to drive innovation and improve customer and colleague experience. We're looking for a Digital and AI Solution Specialist to join our team in Basingstoke, working hybrid from home and the office 2 days per week
The Role
This is a hands-on, solution-focused role where you'll work closely with stakeholders, technology teams, and the wider organisation to design, develop, and deploy impactful AI and digital tools. Your input will be critical in identifying opportunities, researching emerging technologies, and recommending practical solutions that directly support SNG's strategic objectives.
What you'll be doing
Collaborate with stakeholders and the Digital and AI Manager to identify and assess business challenges and opportunities.
Research and evaluate digital and AI technologies, including potential third-party and in-house solutions.
Design and implement bespoke AI and digital solutions aligned with business goals.
Work cross-functionally with teams including data insights, software engineering, security, and solution design.
Use data and analytics to inform model development and improve solution performance.
Maintain an AI solution inventory and ensure existing tools are leveraged effectively.
Share knowledge and raise AI awareness through documentation, updates, and best practice guidance.
Support CI/CD and collaborate with CIO teams to ensure high standards in delivery and compliance.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in designing and implementing AI and digital solutions in a real-world business context.
Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and data analytics tools.
Ability to solve complex problems using a structured, innovative, and outcome-focused approach.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A self-starter with a passion for technology and continuous learning.
